I played along with our latest itinerary over at the Desert Island Crafters this week, and just had to get out this fabulous Tres Chic dePorc stamp set from Our Craft Lounge!
I kept my card simple, so the glamour-pig could “hog” all the glory (hahahahahaha). The card base is actually 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″. I stamped the leopard print background image directly onto the card base and then used my Scor-Buddy to add the lines. Next I stamped the pig image onto the label frame, and then twice more on two separate pieces of patterned paper. I fussy cut out the dress part (in orange) and adhered it to the sweet pig! I finished things off with two little half-pearls at the bottom – what pig would be seen without her pearls?
If you aren't familiar with the challenges over at Desert Island Crafters, you are totally missing out! Twice monthly (on the 1st and 15th) we share an itinerary, and the challenge is to pick at least three items off the list to incorporate on your card. It's so fun! For this card, I managed to squeeze on five things off of the list - dry embossing, paper piecing, pearls, Kraft card, and a vintage/old fashioned image (come on....relaxing on the chaise lounge is vintage, right?!). You should come play along!
