May Sweet 'n Sassy New Releases!

It's finally here!  Are you ready to kick off the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps May New Release Celebration?  I'm super excited about this month's release - it has some fantastic stamp sets!  Want to see what I made for today?  Take a look:
    

My sweet, sweet baby boy will be TWO next Friday (can you hear me getting all teary about this?)!!  I used the new All-Star Cocoa set to make him a joy-fold birthday card.  Because he's only two,  I opted to not put a piece on the card base to keep it closed - that might be too complicated for him!

The card lays pretty flat anyway.  I did add some stars, die-cut with the Stars Die Set.  Cocoa's head and the baseball are fussy cut and popped up, for dimension.  

My second card today showcases the gorgeous new set Nature Silhouettes.  I cannot get enough of this one!!!  I stamped the grass image directly on to my patterned paper, and then put some die cut grass below it.  The I stamped a flower and leaves ( I stamped the leaves off once, to make them lighter) directly on to another piece of patterned paper, and used a partial die cut with the little blue butterfly popped up for interest.  My sentiment is from the Rose Collage set.  I couldn't resist adding some die cut clouds, and some hand stitching to finish it off!
